Day 1
ARRIVE IN TUSCANY & CAMPOROMANOWelcome to Italy!
A private ride will take you from Pisa International Galileo Airport to Camporomano, our medieval property near the northern Tuscan coast for the next few days.
Enjoy a typical Tuscan afternoon apertivo and antipasti for orientation.
Dinner at La Piazzetta, a very traditional and casual trattoria in the heart of an ancient borgo!
Day 2
CINQUE TERRE, SARZANA WINE TASTING, BBQ
Arrive to our private charter at the harbor in La Spezia – an old wooden ferry boat where we enjoy history lessons full of magical tales of the town.
Sail the colorful coastline of Cinque Terre, taking in the breathtaking views of the small towns.
Roam the narrow streets of the villages, mingle with locals while shopping and enjoying local fair.
End the day with a unique party in a quaint vineyard above the harbor – enjoy our first wine tasting, private Ligurian BBQ and our own jazz trio!
Day 3
CARRARA, COLONNATA & PIETRASANTA
After yesterday's experience among a palate of colors, the color of the day today will be WHITE.
We will first find ourselves in a quarry, then deep inside a cave, surrounded by the world renowned marble of Carrara. Hard hats required! Welcome to Fantiscritti, one of the most prestigious quarries in the entire Carrara area. Our personal tour guides will provide some of the fascinating history and process of extracting this precious stone.

In our 4x4 jeeps, we will reach the peak of the mountains to appreciate spectacular vistas and enjoy an aperitif and chiccetti.
For lunch, we will spend time in Colonnata and recharge with some local red wine in one of the most important sculpture “laboratories” in Italy. End the day with some gelato and dinner on a comfortable breezy terrace of an osteria in Pietrasanta!
Day 4
PASTA LESSON, OLIVE OIL, SHOPPING & BEACH
We will spend the morning at “home” in Camporomano to learn about olive oil with Niccolo, our host, and make home-made pasta with Niccolo’s amazing mamma.
After lunch and a siesta, we will enjoy a relaxing day at the beach and shopping if you wish.
Dinner will be near the beach with fresh fish and seafood of course, then back to Comporomano to get ready for the exciting days ahead!
Day 5
LUCCA LUCCA LUCCA
You’ll explore the medieval town of Lucca and quickly realize why I’ve made this place my second home!
We will enjoy lunch at Nilo’s property, Trattoria Buralli.
After lunch we will meander the city on our bikes to experience the beautiful town.
Most of the afternoon is yours to shop and enjoy yourselves before we have some of the best pizza in Lucca! My personal favorite has thin-sliced potatoes, fresh rosemary and sharp provolone.
Day 6
TRUFFLES & TOWERS TODAY
Off to Tenuta di Camugliano, the best area in Tuscany for tartufi, where we will be welcomed by excited dogs and expert hunters of black and white truffles.
After a stunning walk of the property, we will visit San Miniato to see one of the most important truffle companies in the region.
Marco and his family will invite us in with tasteful bowls of pasta and truffles, eggs and cheese, and local wine to sooth the soul.
On our way back to Lucca, we will stop and take pictures of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Dinner in Lucca will be at La Cecca, a meal you will never forget!
Day 7
VILLAS TOURS & PONTE DEL DIAVOLO
We will step back in time on this day and immerse ourselves in the Renaissance period when we visit the neo-classical style home of Napoleon’s sister, Elisa.
Lunchtime will be an engaging experience taking place in a quaint vineyard where we will have a never-before-seen cooking demonstration and wine tasting! I’d tell you more, but it’s better left a surprise!
Ending the day in a fabulous ristorante, we will enjoy impeccable cuisine and service at Michelin One-Star La Mora
Day 8
CAPRINO, DARIO CECCHINI, CHIANTI EXPERIENCE
We will be leaving Lucca today and heading East to a wine lovers’ dreamland, Chianti - but not before we take a rest-op to visit a cheesemaker, his stables, laboratore, and of course a tasting. Lunch will be entertained by the most famous butcher in the world, Dario Cecchini of Panzano!
It’s not just eating, but a journey into the passion and vision of one man.
After lunch, we will meet the monks in the Badia of Passignano where we will enjoy apertivo facing the vineyards and the beautiful Tuscan countryside
Day 9
CASTELLO DI MONSANTO & SIENA
Gino Rossi, our philosophy and wine expert, will guide us through the hills of Chianti to Castello di Monsato. He will lead us into the world of wine, teaching us about the Earth, the grapes, and the process. Of course we will have a tasting of the wine and locally aged cheeses and meats!
Next, we head off to San Gimignano, a UNESCO city, famous for its medieval towers – time for some gelato and shopping!
Lastly, we arrive in Siena to sip on Aperol Spritz and people watch in Piazza del Campo. Here, it’s the famous place where the horses run Paleo every July and August
Day 10
TIMELESS FIRENZE, FIESOLE & CLOSING LUNCH
On our last day, we head into the gastronomical soul of Florence – first, stopping at Mercato Centrale di San Lorenzo where we will get lost in the sounds and scents of one of Italy’s most vibrant markets
Next is the famous hill of Florence, Fiesole, our host venue for the morning
We will dine on the terrace of Villa San Michele, once a monastery and now a 5-star hotel. We will enjoy our last lunch together while taking in the breathtaking views of the city below us and reminiscing on the memories we have made together
