ABOUT US

Meet the Hosts!

JASON CAPPS

Being a chef has opened many doors for me in Italy, not only to some of the finest commercial kitchens, but also into people’s homes. I find myself consumed with the freshness and simplicity of the dishes. Their passion is undeniable and their commitment to sourcing ingredients from as close to the kitchen as possible is evident in every bite. They’ve lived the Slow Food philosophy for centuries.

While we certainly dig deep into the food and wine, we also host private tours into the architecture, history and people’s homes who pour generations of passion into everything they do. Every aspect of these tours has been painstakingly vetted by me personally. Join me for a journey into some of the most spectacular places and experiences Italy has to offer.

After a decade of drilling down to what I feel is “the best of the best”, I am finally ready to share with you an experience like no other...

KELLY RODAVICH

Since my first sip of Chianti by the Trevi Fountain, I was absolutely hooked on Italy. Not only hooked on the delicious wine and fresh pasta, but completely mesmerized by the culture and beauty of the country.  I've spent months solo traveling in Italy and dream of one day owning a home in La Città Eterna, or better known as Rome!

I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over ten years in many cities across the country including my hometown of Pittsburgh, which is how Jason and I met. We immediately clicked because of our love for Italy and have been working together since. We share a passion to immerse ourselves in the Italian culture and want to share that passion with other people.

I help with the marketing, organization, and planning of the tours. Not only will I be on the tours with Jason, but I’m actively working on my dual citizenship so I can live in Italy full-time and help Jason plan more tours throughout Italy. Let's live La Dolce Vita together!
